At StratX, we have been privileged to partner with Professors Kim and Mauborgne. Together with the authors and other Blue Ocean Strategy experts, we created the Blue Ocean Strategy simulation. The idea of the simulation is to help teams discover, practice and deepen their understanding of Blue Ocean Strategy winning moves. The simulation allows them to do this in a risk-free, experiential and memorable way. Today, the simulation has been experienced by 400 INSEAD MBA graduates and thousands of students and executives worldwide as part of programs focused on entrepreneurship, strategy and innovation.
Companies have used the simulation as part of meetings, workshops or online challenges to reinforce a culture of innovation and drive cross-functional collaboration.
